Interoperability Technology Today Winter Edition 2009
The Winter 2009 edition of Interoperability Technology Today reports on the new public safety wireless system currently underway in the State of Texas. This improved system will use wireless radios allowing local, tribal, state, and Federal agencies to communicate more effectively during natural disasters, critical emergencies, and day-to-day incidents. The publication also features the State, Regional, and Federal Enterprise Retrieval System—a system enabling criminal justice practitioners to exchange information in real time and across state lines—and spotlights Tom Sorley’s interoperability-focused leadership in his home state of Nebraska.  Interoperability Technology Today provides more than 9,000 emergency responders and policy makers nationwide with news about interoperability initiatives and best practices.
