Emergency Communications Forum - Vol. 5, February 2011
The Emergency Communications Forum (ECF) is published by the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Emergency Communications (OEC). The ECF is intended to engage and inform the emergency response community; policy makers; and Federal, State, local, and tribal officials about issues and events that directly affect everyday nationwide emergency communications.  Volume 5 of the ECF features stories about the SAFECOM program’s 2011 initiatives, OEC’s technical assistance efforts, the Narrowbanding Frequency Mapping Tool, and OEC’s Regional Intrastate Governance Guide.
